The Border Patrol valued the drugs at more than $11 million. When the driver became nervous, an agent conducted a search of the 1996 Buick Roadmaster at the Sarita Border Patrol checkpoint and 127 bricks of cocaine were found in an industrialsize bag of detergent in the vehicle's trunk, agents said. The cocaine was turned over to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in Corpus Christi.
