Still being held in the Lubbock County jail this morning under $20,000 bond was 29-year-old Roberto Mireles of Plainview, no street address available. He and 10 Lockney suspects were rounded up Tuesday in Floyd and Lubbock counties - capping a 2-year investigation by the South Plains Narcotics Taskforce, which included Plainview officers and the department's drug dog, Dak. The charges include delivery of cocaine and range from first to fourth-degree felonies. According to reports, Lockney police worked more than a year in developing suspects and arranging at least 15 drug buys that ranged from a gram to 14 grams. Also as part of the investigation, one unidentified person was arrested earlier for allegedly selling 2.2 pounds of cocaine to an undercover officer. The 10 Lockney residents indicted and charged were: * Abraham Rosales, 40, first and second-degree delivery of a controlled substance, bond $20,000; * Francisco Ascencio, 24, second and fourth-degree delivery of a controlled substance, bond $20,000; * Jesus Ascencio Sr., 57, second-degree delivery of a controlled substance, bond $10,000; * Humberto Mongragon, 34, second-degree delivery of a controlled substance, bond $10,000; * Romolo Salas, 47, second-degree delivery of a controlled substance, bond $10,000; * Minnie Camacho, 35, second-degree delivery of a controlled substance, bond $10,000; * Juan Camacho, 34, second-degree delivery of a controlled substance, bond $10,000; * Isaias Estrada-Torres, 40, second-degree delivery of a controlled substance, bond $10,000; * Joel Torres Estrada, age not listed, second-degree delivery of a controlled substance, bond $10,000; * Jesus Ascencio Jr., 24, fourth-degree delivery of a controlled substance, bond $10,000. In addition to Lockney and Plainview police, the lengthy investigation included officers from the Floydada and Lubbock police departments, the Floyd County Sheriff's department, Floyd County Constable's Office and the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife.
