Wolf The March 10 Herald editorial Another young life taken eloquently expressed grief over the tragic killing of a 12-year-old girl in a senseless, wild shooting in Miami. The statements of the cause of the shooting is less than complete. This girl was a victim of our failed drug war. So long as drugs are illegal, the drug suppliers have only one way of settling disputes -- through violence. Innocent people often are caught in the cross-fire. Contrast this way of settling disputes with the relatively civilized manner used in the tobacco and liquor industries. Richard B. Wolf Coral Gables
