STEVE BLOW SURPRISED ME

Re: "2 Opponents Of Drug Laws Defy Stereotypes," Oct. 25.

In the past it was easy to dismiss Steve Blow as a conservative
journalist hopelessly devoted to sustaining the thoughtless status quo
on important issues like the War on Drugs. His Oct. 25 column in which
he wisely explores more enlightened viewpoints reveals an evolution of
awareness that deserves much praise. If a good old-fashioned
Judeo-Christian like Steve Blow can have a change of mind, anyone can!
