Instead of people being able to legally use medicinal marijuana, as voters surely intended when they passed this initiative, they are seeing patients thrown in jail, cannabis clubs threatened and sick people forced to buy their medication on the streets. Lame-ducks Lungren and Clinton should get back to the business voters selected them to do, instead of going out of their way to harm sick people and using our tax dollars to do it. What part of democracy do they not understand? The people have spoken. Let Prop. 215 be implemented so no more sick people have to suffer needlessly. Let the clubs do their job and free all the patients being victimized by this assault on our democratic process! GARY STORCK Madison, Wis.
