IOC MESSAGE QUESTIONED

Another "send the right message to kids" from people who have every right
to ban performance enhancing drugs to elimnate cheating. They have no
buisness choosing which social drugs to ban. I wonder if the IOC will hire
agents to follow olympic athletes and see if they use alcohol and
disqualify those who do to "send the right message", because as we all know
alcohol is by far a worse social drug and we must hold our athletes to a
higher standard.

The only difference this policy will make is to discourage young people who
happen to enjoy marijuana instead of alcohol from participating in sports
in which they excel. Do you want the best of the best like Microsoft and
George Soros or the best of whomever is leftover like CN Rail, TD Bank and
other Drug Testers.
