PROHIBITION DOESN'T WORK

The deaths in Mexico are directly due to the United States-inspired war on
drugs; a war being forced on the rest of the world by special-interest
groups in the United States. Prohibition was such a disastrous failure the
first time around, it's hard to see how any thinking human being could even
pretend that prohibition could be a viable drug policy in a free society.

When the United States government decides to provide responsible regulation
for the few drugs that fuel the war on drugs, the international trade in
drugs will again slow to the trickle it once was and thousands of people,
like those in Mexico, won't pay with their lives each year so our spineless
political leaders can be "tough on drugs."
