I made the sad discovery on Aug. 16 that my Fourth Amendment rights
are forfeit because my son is on informal probation and the Garden
Grove police can search my entire premises while conducting a
probation search on my son simply by stating it is for "officer
safety," whether there is a clear and present danger or not.(Judge
