In reply to the letter from Pat Molynuex (Echo, September 14) where
she says it is irresponsible and wrong to write and publish the book
Cannabis for Lunch.

Can she not see that it is more irresponsible to ignore and not give
correct advice to the thousands of sick people who are experimenting
with cannabis to ease pain and stress?

They are offered little support in their desperate need to ease pain
without side effects. Using a 5,000 year old medicinal plant as an
addition to food is a basic human right. I am sorry she feels it is
wrong but she remains part of a small minority who still think the law
is correct and effective on cannabis. I would say to her that is time
to challenge the law and change it.

It is not an offence to produce such a book or buy it and no-one is
advising you to break the law, as the disclaimers stress.
