Do More Searches We had our first search last semester at my old school, because this girl had threatened to kill a student and a teacher. The school is in real good neighborhood, and everyone was shocked when they found out about the search and what the girl had said. We should have searches more often. You know those boys in Arkansas who shot all those kids at their school? Searches would help prevent things like that. And they would make us feel more secure. - - Micah Lucase, 15, Murfreesboro, Tenn. Sniff Out Drugs Drugs are easy to find in school - kids brings bags of marijuana in their jean pockets, and they don't get caught. Yes, every person has a right not to be searched without a warrant. But it would be a great idea to have a surprise search with trained dogs to sniff out every kid in school. This would take some time and patience - but it would take drugs of our schools. - - Laurena Guizar, 15, Oxnard, Calif. ... - --- MAP posted-by: Pat Dolan
