Author: David Kozakewich Note: Parenthetical remark by the Sun editor; headline by newshawk OTHER THINGS MAY BE WORSE YOUR RESPONSE to David d'Apollonia's letter that marijuana should be legalized was that "a lot of people show dependency on marijuana that limits their responsibilities." I think that it can be shown that tobacco, alcohol and even gambling has people that show a dependency that limits their responsibilities, yet they are not illegal. Why would you use that response to something that may not even be as bad as, say tobacco? How many people try to quit but can't, try not to smoke but can be seen with IV poles in hospital entrances in -40 degree weather? Please don't put something down with other things that may be even worse. David Kozakewich (So you agree, it creates unwanted dependencies.) - --- MAP posted-by: Rich O'Grady
