Note: The two PUB LTEs in the FWST today are the fourth and fifth printed
about this police killing in two days.

TRAMPLING THE FOURTH
The infamous War on Drugs has claimed another innocent victim as yet another
travesty is visited against the Fourth Amendment. This police action mocks
the words "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, .
. . against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated."

But I guess that "timid, mild-mannered" Troy Davis was a real serious threat
against society, and it's really unfortunate that he will never see his 26th
birthday.

If Judge Sharen Wilson (who signed the warrant) and officer Alan Hill (who
pulled the trigger) have any conscience, I hope they have some sleepless
nights as they consider what they have done.
