SIBERIAN POLICE SEIZE 52 KG OF DRUGS FROM TRAFFICKERS KEMEROVO, February 9 (Itar-Tass) - Police in a Tuesday crackdown on a criminal group have stopped what has been a major route of drug-trafficking in Siberia's Kemerovo region over the recent years. A regional police directorate spokesman told Itar-Tass that after three days of shadowing, six men were arrested with 44 kilograms of raw opium and eight kilograms of hashish in their hands. The group carried 8,000 dollars, 130,000 roubles, two handguns, an RDG-5 handgrenade and knives. The drug-traffickers used special containers on a truck. - --- MAP posted-by: Mike Gogulski
