UNDO MARIJUANA MESS

Saskatoon -- Re Ottawa Plans To Launch Clinical Marijuana Trials -- March 4:

Given that the government never had a reason to make marijuana illegal in
the first place, pro-legalization advocates around the country will hardly
be jumping for joy at Allan Rock's announcement of clinical trials for
medicinal use.

If the government of Canada really wants to act responsibly, it should work
toward controlled legalization of marijuana for all uses, including the
right to cultivate a small number of plants for personal use (just as we
can make beer and wine). And it should pardon the million Canadians who
have been convicted of cannabis-related criminal offences.
