FIGHT DRUG MENACE

CAN we ever combat the drug menace in the Illawarra?

State and Federal authorities seem more interested in point scoring and
cost cutting than in trying to solve the problem.

The community is paying a high cost of the increasing crime rate with
addicts looking for their next "hit''. Families are falling apart with
parents and/or children caught in the drug web, and a welfare system
finding it harder to cope.

There must be a concerted bi-partisan effort to fight this menace. Remember
it is the future of our children and grandchildren that is at stake.
