What a saint. He believes that we must come down hard on kids who try marijuana, rather than trying the soft approach of decriminalization. Well, this soft approach has worked well in some countries. Furthermore, thinking back to my own childhood, I witnessed much more self-destructive and outwardly violent acts by drunk peers than I ever did by those who smoked a little pot. Perhaps "common sense" should prevail here, not political pandering to those who believe harsh criminal punishment is the solution for all that ails society.
