LEGALISE DRUGS

Anthony Browne (News, last week) states the 'organised criminals have a
greater economic output than the United Kingdom'. Rightly so, for they get
all the proceeds of the black-market drug trade. Prohibition causes far more
harm than drug use itself. The money behind major crime syndicates can be
reduced dramatically by decriminalising drugs.
