PROHIBITIONISTS STALL TO STAY IN BUSINESS

Thanks for taking Joseph Peters and the rest of the visiting federal
authorities to task for offering little more than words to help deal
with drug-associated problems. They know that they can't outspend our
own citizens in the quest for illegal drugs, and by now most of them
realize, too, that we can't continue incarcerating low-level dealers
and drug users.

What, then, should they do? Nothing! Prohibitionists all over the
country are stalling for all they're worth. Many of them earn a fat
paycheck by maintaining the status quo, and can't be bothered to find
legitimate employment.

The "War on Drugs" has caused many more problems than drug use itself,
and the long road to national healing is only beginning. Please
educate yourself on the issues. Every time you vote, every time you
serve as a juror, you can help us all get away from the fascism that
has been destroying our civil liberties. Individual states are now
leading the nation in consideration of cannabis' variety of uses. If
the feds are the last to wake up to the facts, so be it.
