DOPE'S JUST ANOTHER WEED

The last line of Erin McCormick's article ( "Medical marijuana a
budding problem for neighbors, cops," Aug. 29) seems, unfortunately,
to have been deleted.

The sentences after, "One of the reasons the government is concerned
about controlling marijuana is that people kill each other over this
stuff" should have read, "But that is only because it is illegal.
Without prohibition it would be just another weed."
