As he unloaded his illegal cargo of ecstasy tablets he was unaware police and customs officials were already surrounding him. Neale had smuggled the 271,000 tablets - the largest seizure of the drug in its pure form in Australian history - into the country in a shipment of wine. A RAVE was broken up by police after revellers gathered at a disused farm in East Anglia. The event, organised by Pulse-8, was originally due to take place at a farm in Copford, near Colchester, but was cancelled after the landowner withdrew his permission. Pulse-8 said it had tried to work with police and council officials to find a new site that was suitable for the event, but claimed officials did not want the event to take place anywhere. A MOTHER whose son was left seriously ill after taking an illegal drug has hit out at plans to open the first ever "cannabis cafe" in Essex. A site has not yet been earmarked for the venture, but its manager Chris Philbin is hoping to secure a location on the Humber Road estate in Witham. Mr Philbin, a member of the Legalise Cannabis Alliance, said cannabis campaigners were waiting for Home Secretary David Blunkett to decide whether the drug should be downgraded from class B to class C.
