I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the thrilling story about the arrest of the lady for growing pot on her back porch ("Deputies: Pot found at home of 57-year-old Navarre woman," Aug. 29). My pride in the Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office swelled with every sentence, but I want more details.

Was a SWAT team deployed? Was the area cordoned off? Were bullhorns needed? Was tear gas ever considered? How many back-up cars responded? Was a K-9 unit alerted? How many shots were fired? Will this arrest deal a crippling blow to drug dealers here and abroad?
