A retired Kentucky State Police officer has been arrested for making methamphetamine and growing marijuana. Police arrested Benjamin Dewan Hadley of 2680 KY 92 in Columbia on Tuesday. Hadley has been in the Adair County Jail since his arrest. According to a spokesperson at the Columbia State Police Post, Hadley retired from the state police in the early 1990s. The Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Section of the Kentucky State Police Special Operations Section, along with officers from the Columbia post, executed a search warrant on Hadley's KY 92 property on Tuesday.
