Regarding free heroin trials: No one forced these people to take heroin or any other drug. They did it on their own. Why clamp down on the drug industry, then give it to addicts for free?

At my age, I have learned there is nothing "free" in this world. We all pay in one way or another.

Do they offer free patches or whatever to quit smoking?

I say: Instead of plying these people with free drugs, put them all in a commune with free medical help and clear the streets of this rubbish.

Get rid of the people who take drugs and you get rid of those who sell drugs. Problem solved.
