Medicinal marijuana patients should be able to acquire their drug without fear of being arrested and going to jail and possibly losing their jobs and families. The initiative is safe and advocates for responsible use and cultivation. Whether or not Michiganians support recreational use of the drug, we should all consider our right to seek proper medical treatment.
