Editor: First I'd like to respond to the last letter written about the Dare Program not being strong enough. The program can always be better, but the people who started the program did a great honor to help kids and older people understand that drugs are dangerous. And any type of help or lecture does get the information out and it does get heard. The people who did this should get awards for the time they spent doing it. Not all kids just do it and there are a lot of kids that I know who never tried it. Parents are the first defense and information, wherever it comes from, is a second defense and the law is always the head of this war. Use your good sense to give credit where due and use the information you know about drugs to help kids stay away from them. [continues 159 words]
