LIKE Coun Leslie Phillips (Echo, April 2) I do not wish to see any encouragement of drugs in Dorchester - let alone Ms Day's plans to open a cannabis cafe.

I make my position clear to the public. I believe cannabis use (despite what its supporters say) can lead some to harder drugs.

There are several grades of cannabis, constantly being refined to stronger stuff by suppliers. Some of this is very dangerous to use. We have more than enough problems with young people without it being presented as acceptable to them through a dope cafe.
