On Jan. 18, 2006, Kelly Lee Bonnville was rushed to the hospital, unresponsive and near death. Two days later, the 31-year-old woman from Shelby died. The official cause of death listed on the certificate of death: Narcotic Toxicity. Bonnville died of an overdose of legal narcotics -- prescription painkillers to which she'd become fatally addicted.
