That said, as a U.S. citizen, I am still alarmed at the way the 4/20 affair at CU was handled. Last time I checked, the First Amendment was still in force and we were still a nation of laws and principles. What possible legal rationale could there be for a Boulder District judge to override the right of U.S. citizens to assemble peacefully, or for law enforcement to threaten citizens with trespassing for setting foot on public property?
