Re: 'Legalize use of pot,' Letters, Nov. 19.

All I can say is that pot is the "gateway" drug to the use of cocaine, heroin and so on. These drugs shatter lives and families and once hooked, it is extremely difficult to stop using them.

Just ask the users themselves.
