Re your news item on the sacking of the Pasig police chief for the "shabu bazaar." I believe that the Pasig police, primarily the chief, should accept responsibility for the flourishing of the drug market under their very nose.

This is not only a gross negligence of duty. It is flaunting a menace to the youth by allowing it to operate with seeming impunity.

Responsibility for this depravity should extend to the leaders of the barangay where the "shabu bazaar" was operating. The mayor, no less, cannot escape accountability for it.
