EDITOR: I was very happy to read on Dec. 12 about the suspects in the heroin ring being indicted. My 24-year-old granddaughter passed away in February from a heroin overdose. I was taken aback by the second headline of the same page - "In search of best buds" - regarding the Emerald Cup, the weekend marijuana competition. Lisa started her journey with drug addiction by smoking pot as a young teenager, then graduated from there to the killer drug. It seems to me that was poor article placement, but what do I know?
