What is wrong with our government?

I read on the front page of The Daily Herald that the Department of the Interior had purchased water from drought-stricken Deer Creek and Jordanelle reservoirs to increase the flow of the Provo River so the June sucker will have good spawning conditions on the lower Provo River.

That same evening, I heard on TV that the border patrol agents on the U.S./Mexican border sit on their duffs because the agency does not have enough money to buy enough vehicles so these agents can contain the drug traffic and influx of illegal immigrants.
