To the editor; My heart goes out to the mother that you wrote about in the paper last week (Feb. 7, 2005, Star/Journal), if she can help other kids and parents with writing that letter she's a hero. I hope her and her husband have very good luck with their own daughter. That letter made me cry. I happen to be one of those people that had all of my jewelry stolen from my house and other people I know have had it happen to them to. [continues 205 words]
I Would like to reply to the criticism's made of me by Alexander Donis (Letters, February 11). In response to the suggestion that I failed to take certain fundamental points into account I would like to say that I feel it is Mr Donis who has missed the point entirely. I did not, as suggested, attack cannabis user Carl Wagner personally, nor did I express any dislike for him. I merely gave an opinion based on the facts, which are (like it or not) cannabis is an illegal drug and as such carries the risk of arrest. [continues 74 words]
