VIRGINIA BEACH -- An unarmed man shot through the hand by a SWAT officer during a drug search at a Pungo-area home this week said on Thursday that he thinks police targeted the wrong house. A drug dealer suspect listed in a search-warrant affidavit, Eric ``Bubba'' Ennis, does not live in the home police searched. However, the man who was wounded, 42-year-old Kevin Comeau, said that Ennis lives nearby, in a similar house. ``I think this is a case of mistaken identity,'' Comeau said. ``Maybe they got the houses mixed up.'' By Mike Mather VIRGINIA BEACH Narcotics detectives are investigating a dentist suspected of distributing cocaine and marijuana from his home, according to a searchwarrant affidavit made public Tuesday. Police searched a safe taken from the dentist's guest bedroom and found cocaine, marijuana, and numerous items commonly used to package and sell drugs, the search warrant affidavit said. The dentist, J. Matthew Hogendobler, told police the safe wasn't his. He said the safe belonged to a Washington ``drag queen'' who held the key, the affidavit said. [continues 241 words]
