"He was on his way in to work and was arrested," said Staff Sgt. Al Sauve with the province's organized crime unit. The arrest follows a weeklong investigation, Sauve said, prompted by reports prisoners were getting drugs from one of more than 300 guards working at the facility. Trafficking is something the Alberta Solicitor General's office is cracking down on in all of the province's prisons, said a spokesman for the ministry. "There's been a zero-tolerance policy on any drugs in our system," said Solicitor General spokesman David Bray. "When they're found in there, strong action is taken." Matthew Domke, 23, was arrested without incident at about 2:30 p.m. He faces six counts of possessing four grams of marijuana and hundreds of pills of prescription drugs for the purpose of trafficking. He is also charged with one count of possession. - --- MAP posted-by: Beth
