About a dozen people marched from Broadway Avenue to city hall Saturday afternoon to raise awareness of what organizers call state-sponsored discrimination. Growing and using marijuana for medical and recreational reasons should be left up to the individual, says Nathan Holowaty. "We want to stand up for individual rights. It's a lifestyle choice. It shouldn't be criminalized." He says the federal government is heading down the wrong path in making it legal for a person to possess a small amount of marijuana for their own use because it would still be illegal to grow the plant. - --- MAP posted-by: Jay Bergstrom
