PRINCE OF POT OUT OF LUCK FOR HOCKEY PASS

While being royalty may have its advantages, even Vancouver's Prince
of Pot couldn't get into the Molson Canadian Hockey House on Sunday
to watch Canada do battle with the U.S.

"They (VANOC) just don't want the association," said Marc Emery about
being denied access to the bustling venue. "They're worried about me
being seen beside the athletes."

Emery and his wife, Jodie, were invited to the Hockey House by a CNN
reporter who had been interviewing them during the Games. The
reporter promised the couple media passes that Emery claims were
revoked by VANOC.

Emery said he was later told it was a misunderstanding. He headed to
the venue only to be turned down at the door because the Hockey House was full.

A spokesperson for Molson said that to be accredited for the Hockey
House, requests should have been made months ago.

"We have our own accreditation policy here," said Marsha Mowers. "We
are at capacity every night. We don't accept walkups and CNN was
definitely not accredited for (Sunday) night."

A VANOC official said the organization has nothing to do with the
administration at the Hockey House.
