Roger Goodman is the Director of the King County (WA) Bar Association's

the best selling books, DRUG CRAZY and

leading national voices on drug policy.

Clifford Thornton:
Clifford Thornton is the primary speaker for
Efficacy, Inc. - a non-profit
organization that has been concentrating on drug policy reform for five years.
Mr. Thornton has done over 400 radio shows on drug policy. In the last three
years Mr. Thornton has spoke to over 300,000 people in some 450 venues about
the drug war as it relates to health, economics, race/class/ and white privilege.
Efficacy is partially responsible for the removal of DARE from the
Ocean City, New Jersey school system in 2001. Mr. Thornton gave a
presentation to the board of education that received great reviews
and helped facilitate its demise.
Mr. Thornton taught a graduate-level course entitled "Illegal Drugs and Public Policy"
at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut in the spring semester of 2002.
Most recent activities include an eleven-week speaking/organizing tour of
New Zealand last winter 2004. In January-February 2005, Efficacy was
in Virginia, Illinois and Wisconsin for speeches at universities, luncheons,
and civic organizations. Efficacy went to Seattle, WA in December 2002
for a forum on race/class and the drug war sponsored by the King County
Bar Association.
