MAP Editor in Training (EIT) MAP
Luckily, for most of us, being a MAP Editor does not involve spelling or grammer checks! MAP Editors ensure that submitted articles are relevant to drug policy reform, are from approved sources and are formatted properly.

This course is divided into two parts:

  1. Processing an article
  2. Receiving an article

Getting an article is much less complicated than working the article - that's why we walk through processing first.

Please take a moment to scan through the course general outline to get an idea of the general flow:

Processing an Article:

  • Lesson 1 Overview
  • Lesson 2 Processing the Header
  • Lesson 3 Article Appearance
  • Lesson 4 MAP Staff Mailing List
  • Lesson 5 Article Descriptor
Receiving an Article:
  • What is Dispatch on Demand (DoD)?
  • How to use DoD!

OK, that's it for the prelims...take a deep breath, open your mind wide and dive on into Processing an article, Lesson 1!
